I must be a little crazy

Hello friends,

I´m Rafa Cámara and I want to introduce to you a new business book with a different approach: Regeneration of Management, through Corporate Social Responsibility. I am an industrial engineer and took over 30 years in different management levels in Northamerican and European multinationals.

I'm always in continuous learning, both from the environment and from my bosses and colleagues. I learned what to do and what to avoid. Right and wrong. What works and what does not work. In short, a lot of practical experience not for taking on deaf ears. When I start writing this book I'm working at General Electric, so you can deduce that I have not much time for additional activities. Nevertheless and despite this, I decided to write my book The Management of Regeneration.

Regenerate the Management ...? I must be a little crazy. I really confess I'm surprised myself. Could it be that I'm, as many citizens, also outraged? I do not know, but I decided to abandon neutrality concepts and practices that during 20 last 20 years have led towards the economic, political and social crisis suffering., política y social que padecemos.

Given this situation, and from my experience, I put the focus on the necessary regeneration of Management. A book that will be available to you shortly, to analyze that analicéis business paradigms me if we have "sold" should be thoroughly reviewed: Paradigms as:

  • Shareholder value above all things,
  • Productivity based only on cost reduction,
  • Globalization as a driver for relocation,
  • The slavery of the quarterly results for reporting stock,
  • The trap of mergers and acquisitions, etc..

Is not it time to "unlearn", as the popular slogan says ING Bank? Is it not time that the universities and business schools deepen the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility? Regeneration of Management is to review these issues and how to put them in their true value. So reading this book is valid for all sectors and levels of the business environment, from the operational level to senior management. While the book is available, I invite you to dive for my website where you will find summaries of these concepts, and where I hope your comments and suggestions freely.

Thanks, friends.

    Hi Rocio:
As I rejoice that I appreciate your words, although I exaggerate.
You see, as the first test blog was well received, I decided to plunge into the pool with a website very "professional". And so we are in contact by other 15 years, as little.
    A big hug and thanks
    Rafael

Rafa, do not stop to amaze me never! I've known you 15 years and keep doing it. We continually reinvent. Congratulations and thanks for telling me to participate in this new idea that I find fascinating. A very strong hug.
